John

I was born in Paris, France and raised in Geneva, Switzerland for the first 15 years of my life. My father was an American businessman. At the age of 16, I went to the US for high school (The Lawrenceville Prep School in NJ), then on to Syracuse University in NY for college. I graduated in 1980 with a BA in Spanish and an emphasis in business. In 1976 I took a year off from college and backpacked overland for 6 months from Switzerland to India. It was there on a street in New Delhi that I met a missionary who confronted me with the Gospel. At age 19, in New Delhi, I embraced Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. I returned to Syracuse University and got involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. After graduating from Syracuse University in 1980, I became a flight-attendant with Pan Am. I graduated from Talbot Theological Seminary in 1985 with an MDiv in Bible Exposition. I was ordained at Grace Community Church in December 1985. I am currently working on a DMin in Expository Preaching at The Master’s Seminary.

Meg

Meg was raised in Seattle and embraced Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord at the age of 16 when she was an exchange student in Japan. Impressed by the Japanese work ethic, she became aware that she wasn’t as good as she thought she was and was a sinner in need of forgiveness. She turned to the Bible which revealed the plan of salvation to her and she trusted Christ. She returned to Seattle and attended the University of Washington, majoring in Japanese language and literature. Meg and John met while both were working for Pan Am.
