TBBF Women’s Retreat 2018

A love for God’s Word, and a desire to please the Lord, are the motivating forces that have shaped Judy Gerry’s life.  Though saved as a child, it was not until her young adult years that she began to grow in a deep knowledge of God’s Word.  After being discipled by Campus Crusade for Christ during her college years, she joined their staff in 1969.

In 1971 The Lord brought Judy and Dave Gerry together in marriage (Psalm 34:3).  Today, with five grown children and sixteen grandchildren, they continue to actively mentor young families in Ventura County.

Judy has taught women’s Bible studies for over forty years, and as a published author has written over a dozen discipleship books.  She frequently speaks at women’s events, and mentors through the ’livewhatmatters.org’ podcast program.  Judy’s greatest desire is to exhort women to walk in the “ancient paths” designed for them by the Lord, so that they will glorify God and find joyful  “rest for their souls” (Jeremiah 6:16).

During these culturally changing and spiritually confusing times, she calls people back to see the holiness and simplicity of living a life that pleases the Lord by focusing on the eternal truth of the Word and the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
