News From Geneva

After a very amazing invitation and many months of preparations, The Geneva International Christian Choir and Orchestra finally gave a one-hour Christmas concert in the Assembly Hall of the United Nations Headquarters of Geneva on December 2, 2016! This was a unique, and honestly quite surreal, experience. And it only happened because of one man, Alex Mejia, the founder of the United Nations Christian Association, who prayed and persisted. Thank you Lord! The concert seems to have been very well received. We already have an invitation to come back next year!

Well, it happened. John actually turned 60 on December 14, 2016. And how do I feel? Great! I have decided to fully embrace my age and keep thanking the Lord for good health and continued energy. We are very excited to see what the Lord has in store for us for the next 60 years!

Meg and the children in her Sunday School class (3-7 year olds) constructed tents recently to commemorate the Feast of the Booths in the book of Nehemiah. Her Sunday school class usually involves singing, a Bible lesson, games and a manual activity. Meg continues to pour her life into the children God has given us in her Sunday School ministry, and helps to train others to do the same. Our church has a total of about 60 children ages 0-12. We now rent four conference rooms in the hotel where we meet, just for Sunday School. Our need for trained and committed teachers continues to grow. Thank you for your intercession about this.

We thank each and every one of you for your interest in our ministry, for your zealous intercession, and for your amazing generosity for these last 30 years of ministry.
