The Purpose of the Missions Ministry

Our purpose is to send and support disciple-making and church-planting missionaries to all nations, regardless of culture, distance, or language. Our motivation is love for and obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. To fulfill our purpose, the Missions Team is appointed, approved, and formed under the oversight of the Board of Elders. The Missions Team assists the Board of Elders in preparing missionary candidates and then sending missionaries who are gifted, trained, experienced, and proven leaders. These leaders will plant churches, support and assist church planters, and mobilize trained indigenous leaders and pastors to be church planters.

Philosophy of the Missions Ministry

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

Goal of the Missions Ministry

The goal of our missions ministry is to make disciples of all nations. Our first priority is to reach unreached people groups with the Good News of Jesus Christ in order to make disciples and plant churches.
