Ministry Focus: Directors of the Ministry Training Center for the Deaf

Grobsteins 2013

Ministry Overview

Howard and Janet have been involved with Rancho Sordo Mudo for almost 30 years. Howard was the roofer-on-call in the early days of the Ranch and they came down to Mexico once or twice a year to serve short term. They became full-time staff in 2006 as Group Coordinator and Luke’s Assistant. After three years, the Grobsteins were appointed as Directors, overseeing the staff and the new Ministry Training Center for the Deaf.

Rick Warren’s church is starting 12 churches in 12 cities around the world. Each one of these churches will have an outreach to the deaf, since the deaf are one of the largest unreached people groups in the world today. The Training Center has been asked to do the training and they have done three training classes over the past seven months.
